Utne Reader Features Therese Aune’s “Chameleon”

featured Therese Aune’s single, “Chameleon,” on their monthly music sampler, which allows readers to download the track for free. Utne praised the Norwegian songstress’ ambient folk sound. “Chameleon” comes off Aune’s album, Billowing Shadows, Flickering Light, which was released today on Red Eye Transit. As Utne Reader explains, the track tells the story of a “painfully introspective young woman dreaming of the happiness she secretly fears.”

She’s played festivals all over Norway, as well as the Berlin Festival, Iceland Airwaves Festival and South by Southwest. Billowing Shadows, Flickering Light is available now on Red Eye Transit.
