The Deli Reviews James Rose's New EP, "Lullabies to the Ocean"

James Rose, formerly featured in the Deli LA's Artist of the Month poll, has an upcoming EP entitled, Lullabies to the Ocean. Rose won the poll and has held the title of Artist of the Month, and now The Deli is sharing some kind words about his new indie folk EP. You can read the full feature here.

"The sunny track, which takes on seventies soft rock with a gentle folk melody, has a homespun feel that perfectly suits his whispery vocal delivery. It's one of the many directions Rose takes on Lullabies, all of which expand upon the barebones acoustic instrumentation of his previous work."

Based on the title of the EP, the themes it explores are as clear as the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. Living in Los Angeles, James loves the ocean and embodies the emotional space one would explore whilst looking out to the sea, taking in the calm waves crashing.

"Rose speaks as a former spectator whose finally found, and marked, his little corner of the world."

Get lost in James' new EP, which is out July 27th, but until then follow James on Facebook, Twitter and Spotify.
