Miss Geo Releases “Miles From Home” Video
Boston leftfield pop group Miss Geo reveal the new video for “Miles From Home,” off of their upcoming album, Connection, due out September 16. With a crunchy, thumping club bass line, airy jazz synth chords, and an almost tribal drum beat, the video switches between a hypnotic afterparty and an innocent scene with a deeper meaning.
The video focuses on alternating shots of Miss Geo musicians Pascaline Mary, Abby Heredia, and a delightfully charming red ball that’s seemingly alone in its universe. Pulsating flashes of technicolor lights offer a small glimpse into the scene while Mary and Heredia create the musical backdrop. In the end we see that the red ball was never alone at all - perhaps suggesting that no matter what you’re going through, help might be closer than you think.
