Michael J. Epstein in Performer Magazine
If you've been dying to read a thoroughly entertaining interview with Michael J. Epstein of Michael J. Epstein Memorial Library, you're in luck. In the June issue of Performer Magazine, Epstein sits down and answers some basic questions about himself, his work, and his music.
Epstein is known for being extremely active in practically every social media outlet. However, what people may not realize is that he is a professor of audiology, the clinical science of the health of hearing, during the day and a performer by night. Keeping himself busy with music projects upon music projects (Neutral Uke Hotel, The Motion Sick, Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling), Epstein never seems to have a dull moment.
And yet with all of this, Epstein confesses that he hates having his own name within the band's name, not wanting it to sound as though the rest of the band is just his backup.
