Steph Barrak - EP Case Study
Campaign Overview and Goals: In the winter of 2016, Green Light Go began a campaign with Boston indie pop musician Steph Barrak to release her EP, Never Again. The major goal for her campaign was to gain more exposure and secure positive reviews in larger publications, including NPR.
Strategy: The strategy for Steph Barrak was to focus on her songwriting style and fresh, ethereal indie pop sound. It was also important to highlight that the EP was produced by Mike Davidson (St. Vincent, José González, Regina Spektor).
Results: Through this approach we were able to secure coverage with key tastemakers including Drunken Werewolf, KUTX, and Impose Magazine, with 19 placements in total for a 50 contact campaign.
