Campaign Overview and Goals: In the winter of 2018, Green Light Go began a campaign with Nashville Americana musician Joel Levi to release his self-titled album. The major goal for his campaign was to raise national awareness and increase Spotify streams.
Strategy: The strategy for Joel Levi was to focus on his musical style, and his story-teller perspective of someone living in Nashville but drawing on a Midwest simplicity. It was important for him to build a voice beyond the local scene and to start building a strong foundation of streaming.
Results: Through this approach we were able to secure coverage with key tastemakers including PopMatters, Songpickr, No Country For New Nashville, and Ear to the Ground, with 35 placements in total for a 50 contact campaign.
