Cayden Wemple - EP Case Study
Campaign Overview and Goals: In the winter of 2018, Green Light Go began a campaign with California singer-songwriter Cayden Wemple to debut EP. Wemple was starting from the ground floor, so the goal of this campaign was to raise national awareness, leverage press for larger gig opportunities, and to help in an artist development role on all social media platforms.
Strategy: The strategy for Cayden Wemple was to focus on his story and voice. Wemple had a very home-spun approach to songwriting that was like reading pages directly from his notebook. That level of vulnerability transplanted itself into genuine honestly and drove each lyrical measure.
Results: Through this approach we were able to secure coverage with key tastemakers including Atwood Magazine, Impose, and Americana-UK with 18 placements in total for a 50 contact campaign.
